REMO: GENERATING INTERACTIVE TUTORIALS BY DEMONSTRATION FOR ONLINE TASKS

Identified issues from people with limited digital literacy
Developed web browser extension based to create interactive tutorials by demonstration, designed tutorials embedded within a web page, and utilized visual cues to direct users to specific parts of the page
Established communications between the web page, the inner web pop-up visual box, and a separate outer panel interface

Lead and generated the project idea
Identified the need for multiple triggers in trigger action programming, and more complex and flexible if-then structures after a literature review of related work. (September – October)
Currently in the process of building service in IFTTT that allows the users to add more complex scenarios in the current IF-THEN rule structure
